CABELL COUNTY, WV (WOWK) – One teenager has been arrested and three more are wanted and considered “armed and dangerous” after an attempted robbery in Huntington.
According to the Huntington Police Department, the incident happened in the 1300 block of 6th Avenue Tuesday, May 7. Police say the victim stated four individuals removed her from her vehicle by physical force while at gunpoint.
Officers say the suspects tried, unsuccessfully, to steal the woman’s vehicle, and ran when she called 911.

The HPD says one of the suspects, a 14-year-old male, has been arrested and charged with first-degree robbery. That teenager has not been publicly identified.
According to the HPD, officers are still searching for the other three suspects, who are all teenagers. Those suspects are considered “armed and dangerous,” police say, and have been identified as Hayden Payne, 16, Samuel Richey, 16, and Zainerrian Breland, 13.
